How to Access Services

Who Qualifies

While Deschutes County Behavioral Health primarily works with those on the Oregon Health Plan we encourage anyone, regardless of insurance, to call us. No one will be denied care regardless of inability to pay. There is a discounted/sliding fee schedule available based on family size and income. We provide Access services to adults, children, and families. Our screeners also provide referrals to the community for those who do not qualify for our services.

How to Get Started

Please call (541) 322-7500 to obtain more information on how to access services. Our Access Team is here to answer questions and to determine if you are eligible for services. You may be scheduled for an access appointment at one of our locations in Bend, Redmond, or La Pine.

What is the Access Team

The Access Team is the main entry point for most of Deschutes County’s Behavioral Health treatment programs. We provide screenings, assessments, placement recommendations, and referrals for mental health and substance abuse services. We also coordinate care with community providers.
