Tobacco Prevention and Education Program
The goal of the Tobacco Prevention and Education Program (TPEP) is to reduce tobacco-related illness and death. TPEP is a comprehensive program addressing the issues of tobacco and nicotine use.
TPEP seeks to make Deschutes County safer and healthier by working with partners and stakeholders in the community to achieve the following goals:
- Eliminate exposure to secondhand smoke
- Prevent youth from initiating tobacco use
- Identify and eliminate tobacco-related disparities in all populations
- Provide help to everyone who wants to quit smoking or using tobacco
