Substance Misuse & Gambling Harms Prevention
The Substance Misuse & Gambling Harms Prevention program is designed to prevent and reduce substance misuse. Focused primarily on adolescents and young adults, the program addresses the environments in which people live, work, study, and play. Community Health Strategists apply evidence-based practices and the Strategic Prevention Framework to ensure that efforts have the greatest impact in our community. Rather than providing direct services to individuals, Community Health Strategists work with diverse community partners to strengthen organizational and community-level systems and norms that impact health.
