Uploading Revisions Instructions

 

This article will help answer the following question:

I have revision on my original plan that I would like to make, what are my next steps?

 


 
Any revision that you wish to make need to meet the following requirements:

  • Plans must be legible and complete
  • Proposed revisions must be clouded on the plans and clearly identified
  • Engineering must be submitted if applicable
  • Confirm permit contact is correct.  The Applicant listed on the permit will be the only contact for any revision updates in plan review. 
  • Do NOT use red ink for revisions. 

If the permit needs to be updated, the Applicant or Homeowner Contact shall contact a Permit Technician at 541-388-6574 or submit a request to via the Ask a Permit Technician Form: https://www.deschutes.org/cd/webform/coordinated-services

Document Upload Requirements for Revisions

Read the following before uploading your documents to the permit. You will find the instructions on how to do that on the How to Upload Documents webpage.

  • When selecting the document type, click on revision and enter a detailed description of the revision for each document.
  • No inspections can be scheduled while revisions are in plan review.
  • There may be additional information requested, always refer to the original permit when uploading revisions. The original permit will never end in "-REV-##".

What happens after I upload my revisions? 

  1. A notification will be sent to the original Applicant when the revision is reviewed and approved. 
  2. Revision Fees will need to be paid prior to having access to the revised plans.
  3. Once you are ready for inspections, remember to print the plans out  in color and to scale  and have on the job site. Refer to the inspections webpage below as there is important information for making sure that your inspections can be completed.
