Important dates for the November 6, 2018 General Election

• 08/17/18    Last day for ballot title or text to filed
• 08/28/18    Last day for candidate to file
• 08/30/18    Last day for county candidate’s statement to be filed for inclusion in county voters’ pamphlet
• 09/06/18    Last day for a SEL 801, SEL 802 or SEL 803 and Explanatory Statement to be filed
• 09/10/18    Last day for candidate’s statement to be filed for inclusion in county voters’ pamphlet for candidates that file with governing body other than County Clerk
• 09/10/18    Last day  for measure arguments to be filed for inclusion in county voters’ pamphlet
• 10/16/18    Last day to register to vote
• 10/17/18    Local Ballots mailed
• 11/06/18    Election Day: Ballots must be received by 8 pm on Election Day to be counted, postmarks do not count.
• 11/06/18    Election Night Results: Candidates, districts, PACs and the public are welcome to the Election Night Results Media Room, held in the Barnes Sawyer rooms. Doors open at 7:30 pm.
