District Candidate Positions & Filings for the May 16, 2023 Special District Election

The following positions will appear on the May 16, 2023 ballot. To file for a position, a person must be an elector of that district or zone. District specific qualifications are noted below. Filing of candidacy is by declaration ($10 fee) or by petition (obtaining 25 valid signatures or 10% of voters residing within your district or zone, whichever is less). The required forms are available at the Deschutes County Clerk’s Office, 1300 NW Wall Street, Ste 202, Bend, Oregon, or on our website at www.deschutes.org/clerk/page/may-16-2023-special-district-election. The filing deadline is March 16, 2023 at 5 pm.
