Last Day to Mail Ballots: Tuesday, May 9

Tuesday, May 9, is the last day recommended by the United States Postal Services to mail ballots back for the May Election. Ballots must be received by 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16.

Ballots that are not mailed by Tuesday, May 9, should be delivered to an official ballot drop site. A full list of drop site locations is available online at Deschutes.org/clerk/. More drop sites locations will open on Wednesday, May 10.
 
Oregon voters can drop their ballot at any official county drop site in Oregon and their ballot will be forwarded to their county election’s office. Postmarks do not count.
