Why am I receiving more than one tax statement?

  • If your tax lot is split by multiple taxing code areas, you will receive one statement for each code.
  • Similarly, personal property and utility property may reside in multiple taxing code areas.
  • If you own both a manufactured structure and the land on which it resides, but the names are not identical.

When will I receive my property tax statement?

Property tax statements will be mailed no later than October 25th. If you have not received your statement by November 1, please call 541-388-6540.

RFP - Employee Time and Attendance System

Deschutes County (“County”) invites qualified vendors to submit responses to its Request for Proposal (RFP) to furnish a Time and Attendance and Scheduling System, training, and ongoing support and maintenance for the County. The County expects to achieve substantial gains in productivity, efficiency and accuracy through the implementation of a new time collection and scheduling system. In addition, the County seeks to minimize internal support costs by utilizing technology.

Treasury

The Treasury function is managed by the elected County Treasurer.  The Treasury function involves the acceptance and deposit of County funds from customers, citizens, and other government agencies that support County operations.  In addition, the Treasury function is responsible for the management of cash, all banking relationships and the investment of County funds.  Investments are governed by Oregon Revised Statutes and the County’s investment policy.
