Deschutes County Accepting Applications for Behavioral Health Advisory Board

Deschutes County is accepting applications for its Behavioral Health Advisory Board (BHAB). Citizens with an interest in or life experience with addiction, mental health or intellectual and developmental disabilities are encouraged to apply.

The BHAB is an advisory board to the Board of County Commissioners that:

  • Prioritizes applications for new alcohol and drug treatment programs in Deschutes County.

The BHAB meets four times a year, usually on the fourth Friday of the month from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Members are responsible for reviewing documents on their own time to prepare for meetings. Board members are not paid for their time.

Additional information about the BHAB is available on the County’s website.
