BNSF RR Crossing Construction May 11-13

The Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad (BNSF) will replace the railroad crossing of Baker Road  May 11th through the 13th.  Baker Road will be closed for three days to facilitate the work and to repave the crossing.

All traffic in and out of Deschutes River Woods, west of the Baker Road railroad crossing, will be detoured onto Brookswood Boulevard for the duration of the project. Baker Road will be closed at Cinder Butte Road on the west side and Baker Court on the east side of Baker Road.

The US 97 interchange with Baker Road will not be affected by this closure, and residents will continue to have full access into Riverwoods Country Store and Morning Star Christian School.

One week in advance of the closure, signage will be installed warning motorists of the upcoming closure.

The road closure will begin at 6:30 a.m. on Monday May 11th and the road will re-open at approximately 6:00 p.m. on May 13th. Detour routes will be Brookswood Boulevard to Powers Road to US 97.
