Weekly Road Construction Update - Aug. 31 to Sept. 6
Projects Administered by Deschutes County:
Paving of Tumalo Road: Cline Falls Highway to Tumalo Place (Bend Area) – Crews will be installing asphalt pavement on Tumalo Road between Cline Falls Highway and Tumalo Place. Work will occur overnight.
Traffic Information – Road users should anticipate single-lane closures facilitated by flaggers and delays of up to 20 minutes during work hours, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., Tuesday through Thursday nights.
Projects Administered by Other Agencies:
Redmond Wetlands Complex (City of Redmond) – Crews will be doing sewer utility work on NW Pershall Way & NW 19th Street.
Traffic Information – Road user should anticipate single-lane closures facilitated by flaggers and/or temporary traffic signals on NW Pershall Way and NW 19th Street.

Skyliners Road / Skyline Ranch Road Intersection Closure (City of Bend) – Crews are constructing a roundabout at the intersection of Skyliners Road and Skyline Ranch Road.
Traffic Information – Skyliners Road is now open to traffic. Skyline Ranch Road is open to traffic south of Skyliners Road, but the north segment of the roundabout remains closed. A signed detour route is in place.
Inquiries pertaining to this closure should be directed to the City of Bend Transportation and Mobility Department.
U.S. 97: Terrebonne (Oregon Department of Transportation) – Crews will be doing underground utility work on 11th Street.
Traffic Information – 11th Street will be closed to traffic for underground utility work. A signed detour route is in place.
Lower Bridge Way remains open, allowing only right-in and right-out traffic movements. Traffic bound for U.S. 97 North will continue to use the signed detour route along NW 19th Street and NW Davidson Way.
Tumalo Reservoir Road Utility Work – Crews will be doing utility work on Tumalo Reservoir Road between Bailey Road and Johnson Road.
Traffic Information – Tumalo Reservoir Road is closed to northbound traffic between Bailey Road and Johnson Road. Traffic will detour via OB Riley Road, Wood Avenue and Bailey Road.
China Hat Road & FS Road 1815 Closure (US Forest Service) – China Hat Road and Forest Service Road 1815 are both closed at the USFS Boundary for forest thinning work.
Traffic Information – China Hat Road and Forest Service Road 1815 are closed to all traffic at the end of County maintenance. Access to the area is closed until further notice.
