Road work to begin north of Terrebonne

On Monday, May 15, construction crews will begin road work on NW Chinook Drive and NW 43rd Street from Lower Bridge Road to the Jefferson County Line.

Traffic will be limited to one lane and drivers can expect delays of up to 20 minutes during construction.  Hours of operation will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

Work will consist of:

• Grinding out existing asphalt in the travel lanes to a depth of two inches and then repaving back to the original depth.
• Installation of a two-inch overlay on the entire roadway.

The project is expected to be completed by Monday, June 19.
