Status of Appeals

Consolidated public hearings were conducted by a Deschutes County Hearings Officer on December 8, 2021 and January 4, 2022. The Hearings Officer's decisions were issued on February 18, 2022 and upheld the Staff Decisions approving the applicant's requests. On March 2, 2022, appeals of the Hearings Officer Decisions were filed (ref. Appeal Nos. 247-22-000174-A & 247-22-000175-A). On March 7, 2022 the Board of County Commissioners declined to hear the appeals. LUBA affirmed both County decisions (LUBA Nos. 2022-025 & 2022-026). However, Petitions for Judicial Review have been filed and are pending before to the Oregon Court of Appeals.
