Question. Persuade. Refer. (QPR) Suicide Prevention Training and Expert Panel

Local experts will provide a presentation and opportunity for questions and answers.  The presentation will incorporate concepts from QPR.  QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer - 3 steps that anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide.  Just as people trained in CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognize the early warnings signs of a suicide crisis and how to questions, persuade and refer someone to help. 

A panel of experts will be on site to discuss what their agency does to prevent suicide and how they work together with other community agencies to ensure the care of each person.

Join us.  This is a free event.  Recommended for persons 18 years of age and older.
