Services Offered
The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infant and Children (WIC), is a program that helps pregnant women, new mothers, and young children eat well, learn about nutrition, and stay healthy.
Birth and Death Certificates can be ordered at the Health Services Vital Records office for all births and deaths occurring in Deschutes County within the past 6 months.
The Downtown Health Center offers free or low-cost birth control (for women and men), annual exams for women, STD testing, outreach and education. Clinic locations in Bend and Redmond.

A School-Based Health Center is a healthcare clinic that offers a range of medical and mental health services located in a school.
The Deschutes County Harm Reduction Program (HRP) is designed for community members to reduce the risks involved in substance use. The program hosts syringe drop boxes, offers free sterile needles and other safer injection and safer smoking supplies and provides access to HIV/HEPC testing, education, through compassionate, confidential and judgment-free care.
