Event Cycle Solutions Bin Loan Program

The EventCycle Solutions was designed to elevate community awareness and participation in recycling and sustainability at large-scale events in Bend. By integrating sustainable waste management into events, this project supported by the Bend Sustainability Fund, A Visit Bend Project, aligns with the Department of Solid Waste and City of Bend’s commitment to environmental responsibility, while encouraging eco-friendly behaviors among attendees. This bins are FREE to use. They can be picked up prior to event at Knott landfill. If you require a large number of stations, a trailer with stations can be dropped off at your event location with prior approval. 

EventCycle Solutions provides event organizers with the necessary tools and training to enhance recycling services, increase waste diversion rates, maximize resource recovery, and minimize landfill waste. The initiative will also equip organizers with best practices to ensure long-term success in sustainable event waste management. Please review the Towards Zero Waste Guide at the bottom of the page for assistance in planning. 

Available to borrow are:
35 - ClearStream bottle and can collection bins with lids and signage
35 - ClearStream waste collection bins with lids and signage
4 - Waste station sorting stations and banners
3 - Transporters to move and hold bins
35 -Sandbags to hold down bins for wind

This bins are FREE to use.
Bags are provided with bins.
Bin loans are subject to availability.
They can be picked up prior to event at Knott landfill.
