New: Recycle holiday string lights for free

As you finish up your holiday decorating, have you come across old, broken or damaged holiday string lights? You can recycle them for free at Deschutes Recycling through the end of January.

They’re also accepted for recycling at the Negus, Northwest, Southwest and Alfalfa transfer stations.
