News Release -  County Hosts Cascade East Vegetation Management Conference

On March 16th and 17th, Deschutes County will host the second annual Cascade East Vegetation Management Conference. The event, aimed at area professionals who supply, design, maintain or manage landscapes, will focus on invasive weed species control.

“This two-day conference offers a unique mix of classroom and hands-on training, said Ed Keith, Deschutes County Forester. “It’s a great opportunity to come together as we head into a new growing season to learn new techniques and best practices for vegetation management.”
