Weekly Road Construction Update - June 29 to July 5

Projects Administered by Deschutes County:

Local Road Pavement Preservation (Bend Area) – Crews will be working on the shoulders of the following roadways:

• Arrow Avenue
• Obsidian Avenue
• Rincon Avenue
• Somerset Drive
• Tomahawk Street
• Wickiup Road
• Rastovich Road

Traffic Information – Road users should anticipate single-lane closures facilitated by flaggers and delays of up to 20 minutes during work hours, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, June 30.

Chip Seal/Fog Seal (Bend Area) – Deschutes County crews will be fog sealing the following roads (weather permitting):

• Butler Market Road
• Deschutes Market Road
• Deschutes Pleasant Ridge Road
• Neff Road
• Nelson Road
• Nelson Place
• Waugh Road
• Stenkamp Road

Traffic Information – Road users should anticipate single-lane closures facilitated by flaggers and delays of up to 20 minutes during work hours, 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

Projects Administered by Other Agencies:

Knott Road Closure (City of Bend) – A partial road closure of Knott Road between SE 15^th Street and Raintree Drive.

Traffic Information – Beginning June 23, Knott Road will be closed to eastbound traffic at SE 15^th Street. A signed detour route will be in place for the duration of the closure.

Inquiries pertaining to this closure should be directed to the City of Bend Transportation and Mobility Department.

Tumalo Reservoir Rd Utility Work – Crews will be doing utility work on Tumalo Reservoir Road between Bailey Road and Johnson Road.

Traffic Information – Tumalo Reservoir Road is closed to northbound traffic between Johnson Road and Bailey Road. Traffic will detour via OB Riley Road, Wood Avenue and Bailey Road.

Skyliners Road / Skyline Ranch Road Intersection Closure (City of Bend) – The intersection of Skyliners Road and Skyline Ranch Road is closed for roundabout construction.

Traffic Information – Skyline Ranch Road is closed to traffic at Skyliners Road until early September. A signed detour route is in place for the duration of the closure.

Inquiries pertaining to this closure should be directed to the City of Bend Transportation and Mobility Department.

Deschutes Market Road / Yeoman Road Intersection Closure (City of Bend) – Deschutes Market Road will be closed to traffic at the intersection of Yeoman Road for roundabout construction.

Traffic Information – Deschutes Market Road remains closed to traffic at Yeoman Road. A detour route is in place via Deschutes Market Road, Hamehook Road and Butler Market Road.

Inquiries pertaining to this closure should be directed to the City of Bend Transportation and Mobility Department.

U.S. 97: Terrebonne (Oregon Department of Transportation) – Bridge work will be occurring on Smith Rock Way and along U.S. 97.

Traffic Information – Lower Bridge Way is open to traffic allowing right-in, right-out movements only. Traffic bound for U.S. 97 North will continue to use the signed detour route along NW 19^th Street and NW Davidson Way.

China Hat Road & FS Road 1815 Closure (US Forest Service) – China Hat Road and Forest Service Road 1815 are both closed at the USFS Boundary for forest thinning work.

Traffic Information – China Hat Road and FS Road 1815 are closed to all traffic at the end of County maintenance. Access to the area is closed until further notice.
