The Deschutes County 9-1-1 Service District is
currently recruiting for 9-1-1 Dispatchers
**This recruitment is closing on April 6, 2017 at 11:59p.m. In order to be considered for this opening all testing must be completed by April 7, 2017 at 4p.m. We will be conducting interviews on Monday April 17, 2017**
The District is seeking applicants who can operate effectively as 9-1-1 dispatchers in a high stress/high activity environment. Candidates interested in working towards an exciting career as a 9-1-1 dispatcher must demonstrate quick mental processing abilities and resiliency to deal effectively with difficult situations. Candidates who successfully pass skill testing and an evaluation process will be offered on-the-job training by the District. Training will progress candidates through a three-tiered career ladder. Salary is progressive and competitive.
