Nancy Blankenship, County Clerk

Deschutes County Clerk Nancy Blankenship took office in January 2003; her current term expires in January 2019.  Nancy is responsible for election administration, recording property transactions, issue marriage licenses, archiving and records storage, Board of Property Tax Appeals, passports and more.

Nancy has lived in Central Oregon most of her life, attended the Redmond schools and Central Oregon Community College. She has been married for over 30 years to her husband, Mike. She enjoys gardening, jet skiing, reading and spending time with friends and family.
