  • Debit Cards: Visa and Mastercard debit cards will be charged a flat fee of $3.95 per transaction. For all other debit cards, a convenience fee of 2.5% of the payment amount will be charged (with a minimum fee of $2).
  • Credit Cards: A convenience fee of 2.5% of the payment amount will be charged (with a minimum fee of $2).
  • eChecks: A convenience fee of $2 per transaction will be charged (up to $500,000). Anything over $500,000, a $20 fixed fee will be charged.

Property Tax Collection News

  • The only County-approved method to make secure and authorized online tax payments directly to the County is through www.deschutes.org/tax.

    The business entity / online payment service Doxo is not affiliated with Deschutes County. 

    Residents can confirm that their property tax payments have been processed by visiting dial.deschutes.org, entering account information and checking the Current Balance Due link under the Taxes header. 

  • New: We have a new property tax drop box in Redmond, located behind Redmond City Hall! Entrance on Deschutes Avenue. This box is open Oct. 25 - Nov. 15, Jan. 25 - Feb. 15, and April 25 - May 15.

  • Property tax statements will mail by October 25. If you have not received your statement by November 1, please contact our office at (541) 388-6540. To view your tax statement online, check your current balance due, see a history of payments, verify your mailing address, and so much more, visit dial.deschutes.org and enter your Tax Account Number, home address or name.
  • If you are contacted by someone offering to buy your property, stating that your property is in foreclosure with Deschutes County, or that legal proceedings will be brought against you for delinquent taxes, the information may not be accurate.
