The Hotel Sisters is one of three business buildings remaining in downtown Sisters from the original frontier period.  The hotel escaped numerous fires in the 1920s and 1930s and was put on a new foundation in 1978.  John J. Cunningham built the hotel in 1912 with 19 rooms and two bathrooms for John Dennis.  The building was eventually converted to a restaurant in 1984 by Bill Reed and his family.
