The Hotel Sisters is one of three business buildings
remaining in downtown Sisters from the original frontier period. The
hotel escaped numerous fires in the 1920s and 1930s and was put on a new
foundation in 1978. John J. Cunningham built the hotel in 1912 with
19 rooms and two bathrooms for John Dennis. The building was
eventually converted to a restaurant in 1984 by Bill Reed and his family. |
