Bill Leavitt built the first brick story of this building
in 1919 to house a bar and billiard room. In 1939, Fritz Landaker
added two story's to the building for apartments. On the first floor
the building has been home to a bar for most of its existence.
Locals know the building as the Pastime Tavern, which resided here from
1946 to 1993. Prior to the rehabilitation of the building in 1994,
the second and third floor apartments were vacant for over 30 years.
