Ehret Bros. Store Building Address: 251 SW 6th Street, Redmond, OR. Year Built: 1910 Architect: Unknown Builder:  Advance Construction Company Landmark Status: Local Landmark When the Ehert Brothers Store was built on the far edge of town it was the largest store in Central Oregon and the first brick building constructed in Redmond.  Using three brick layers it took the Advance Construction Company only 20 days to complete.   The first floor housed the general merchandise business of Chris and Carl Ehret, while the second floor was rented out for office and meeting space.  The exterior was covered with stucco in the mid 1940's to "modernize" the building.
