The Department of Solid Waste takes pride in providing a safe place for residents to dispose of or recycle unwanted materials. With four Transfer Stations near Redmond, Sisters, and La Pine, and a major Landfill in Bend, citizens are assured easy access to fit with their busy schedules. The Department also offers money-saving collection events throughout the year, such as a Tire Event,  Appliance Event, and Household Hazardous Waste.  On this website, you will find information regarding everything from rates & fees, directions, and hours of operation to recycling, hazardous waste disposal, and asbestos regulations.
