Quick Permits, at BuildingPermits.Oregon.gov, is an online resource for simple, over-the-counter building permits. Homeowners can find information about permits and download permit forms from participating building departments. Licensed contractors can apply and pay for permits on line.

Dry Canyon Trail Extension Project |
|
Work on the City’s Dry Canyon Trail Project will commence on or around November 1, 2008. The project will consist of 3 staircases to be constructed at Spruce, Obsidian East, Obsidian West and extension of the Dry Canyon Trail (0.8 mi) from Highland to Quartz. The City of Redmond applied for and received a grant from ODOT for the majority of the project.

Surplus Structure for Sale and Relocation |

The City of Redmond will consider the sale and relocation of several homes located on city-owned property in the Dry Canyon. The City Council will conduct a public hearing on October 14, 2008 to consider whether or not the City wants to sell the structures. After the public hearing is closed, if the City Council elects to sell the structures, they will consider any offers that are received by the City. Below is a summary of the structures available. Redmond, Ore. lands another hole-in-one with Allegiant Air as the low-cost airline announces it will offer nonstop service to Phoenix-Mesa, Ariz. from Redmond-Bend beginning Oct. 24. Downtown Redmond Property Assistance Program
Redmond’s Urban Renewal Agency has a several grant and loan programs available to business and property owners in the Downtown Urban Renewal District, as well as a Free Design Assistance Program to help support downtown business and property owners invest in their properties. These programs are available to any property and/or business owner in the Downtown Urban Renewal District. Please contact Urban Renewal staff at 923-7756 for information regarding these programs.
Proposed Downtown Overlay District & C-2 Amendments
On Tuesday, August 12th, 2008, 7:00 PM in the City Council Chambers at the Redmond Police Station (777 SW Deschutes Avenue), the City Council will conduct a public hearing to consider amendments to Article I – Zoning Standards, Article IV – Site and Design Review Standards, and Article V – Signage Standards of the Redmond Development Code.

Public Review Draft -March 2008
In November 2006, the Department of Land Conservation and Development approved the City of Redmond’s Urban Growth Boundary (UGB) plan amendments which added 2,299 acres to the City’s existing Urban Growth Boundary.
With the addition of 2,299 acres of urbanized land, the City has satisfied Oregon statewide land use requirements of a 20-year land supply in support of the Deschutes County coordinated population forecast of 45,724 residents in Redmond in 2025. Read More...
