Lifespan Respite

Respite care is temporary relief for primary caregivers for individuals with special needs, regardless of age or special need.  Lifespan Respite is an information and referral agency connecting families with trained respite care providers who provide relief from the extraordinary and intensive demands of ongoing care giving.  Lifespan works to recruit and provide some training to individuals interested in providing respite care, refers families to potential providers and has some limited ability to assist families to pay for some of the respite services they need.
