Daycare / Adult Respite Care Facilities

Day care facilities are inspected by the Environmental Health Division at the request of the licensing authority – The State of Oregon Services to Children and Families (http://www.oregon.gov/DHS/children/index.shtml) the most recent environmental health reports are available for review by written request at the Community Development Department office in downtown Bend.

School Cafeteria

School Food Service inspections are conducted under contract between the individual school district and Deschutes County. School food safety inspection requirements are governed by the Oregon Department of Education (http://www.ode.state.or.us/services/nutrition/memos/2003/nslp/annual_food_safety.aspx) The most recent environmental health reports are available for review by written request at the Community Development Department office in downtown Bend.
