Deschutes County Job openings are also publicized in the following ways:

• Newspapers: Most jobs are advertised in the Sunday edition of the Bend Bulletin as well as other publications designed to reach diverse populations.
• Job Hotline: (541) 388-6553 this is a 24-hour number, so call at your leisure. Job openings are updated every Friday by 5:00 p.m.
• Personnel Office: The Deschutes County Personnel Department, located at 1300 NW Wall St., Suite 201, Bend, OR 97701 offers information and employement application packets for each position that is currently available.  These packets are located inside the Personnel Office at the front counter. 
• Online Job Interest Card - Fill out the online Job Interest Card and we'll automatically email you with each new job opening of your choosing. If you do not have access to a computer, or an email account, you may also complete a card in the Personnel Office:

If you would like to be notified when a specific job classification is open, you may complete a "Job Interest Card" for that classification at the Personnel Department and the card will be held for six months. When a recruiting announcement opens for that classification, the "Job Interest Card" will be mailed to you if you live in the Central Oregon area; if you live out of the Central Oregon area, a complete application packet will be mailed to you. The "Job Interest Cards" are available at the Deschutes County Personnel Department, or you may call (541) 388-6553 and "Job Interest Cards" will be completed for you.

Application packets for current openings can be obtained from the Deschutes County Personnel Department located at 1300 NW Wall St., Suite 201, in Bend, OR 97701, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time. Application packets may also be mailed to your residence. Please call (541) 388-6553 or TTD (541) 385-3203 to request an application packet.
