GIS Services
Deschutes County's GIS Program utilizes GIS software and GIS data to perform custom GIS mapping and spatial analysis services. Custom services have been performed for county departments, the Board of County Commissioners, state agencies, the cities of Bend, Redmond and Sisters, emergency service providers, local school districts, park and recreation services districts, community organizations, and numerous private clients.

Custom
Mapping
Custom maps can be created to your specifications, using spatial data such as tax lots, land use, ownership, site address, zoning, urban growth boundary, city limits, service district boundaries, topography, aerial photography, and others. Reports can be created on a wide variety of data and geographic areas.

Spatial Analysis & Reporting
Using the power and features of geographic information system (GIS) software, a variety of spatial overlay and proximity analysis can be conducted. For example, find out the number of households within a 1-mile radius of a specific location or identify the number of commercially zoned acres inside a particular area.

Standard & Custom Data Extraction
Custom digital data sets can be purchased for the customer's use on their own GIS system. Digital geographic data can be provided in personal or file based geodatabases format or shapefile format. Excel spreadsheets, dBase file format, and comma-delimited text files.

Targeted Mailing Support
Mailing lists for site addresses in Deschutes County can be created to your specifications. Data is usually provided in dBase or Excel format.

|
Services are typically performed at $65 per hour plus materials. Most products require a minimum of one hour to create.
