Clerk's Official Records (1985 to present)   

This online application covers real property records from 1985 to the present.  Images of documents are available from May 1999 to the present.  This site does not have information on personal property records, property tax records, property by address, permit information, circuit court records, criminal proceedings, adoptions or zoning.

 

Direct & Indirect Deed Indices (1871 to 1984)   

These indices cover transfers of right, title and/or interest in real property between 1871 to 1984.   These are grantor/grantee indices.

 

Miscellaneous Indices (1905 to 1984)  

These indices cover a variety of records such as affidavits, contracts, bills of sale, powers of attorney and death certificates.

Patent Index by Name 

This is an index to patent records recorded between 1905 and 1917.  The index is by grantee's last name.

 

Metes & Bounds Grantor/Grantee Indices 

These indices cover real property conveyance records prior to 1960.  These indices cover only records within a township, range and section prior to 1960.

 

Subdivision Grantor/Grantee Indexes  

These records cover real property conveyance records prior to 1960 within a subdivision.  The indices only cover subdivisions recorded prior to 1960.

 

Subdivision Listing Report 

This report is updated monthly and shows all recorded subdivisions within Deschutes County and where the original plat maps are located in the Clerk's Office.  The subdivision plats are available online through the  Surveyor's Office.

 

Partition Plats (1977 to 2002)  

This is an index of recorded/filed partition plats from 1977 to 2002.  The report includes community development numbers (e.g., MJP 01-123), date recorded or filed and the cabinet and page of where the original maps are located in the County Clerk's Office.  Recorded partition plats are available online through the  Surveyor's Office.

Patent Index (Township, Range and Section)   

This is an index to patent records  recorded between 1905 and 1917.  The index is by Township, Range and Section.

Military Discharges  

This is an index of veterans who have recorded their military discharge record between 1945 and 1984.  From 1985 to the present veterans who have recorded their discharge record may locate their record through  Web Query.  Images of these records are not available online.

 

Naturalization Certificates  (Oregon State Archives) 

Documents granting of United States citizenship to petitioners. Records include applications, witness affidavits, court findings granting or denying citizenship, certificates, and indexes. Declarations of intention may also be included. Information includes name, age, and residence of applicant; applicant's dependents; date of filing of declarations of intention and petitions; and volume and page numbers where papers are recorded.
