Planning For The Future
The Long Range Planning Division works with the public, the Planning Commission and the Board of County Commissioners to establish policies and regulations to reflect the community vision for the future. The Division manages updates to the Comprehensive Plan and the Transportation System Plan.

Other examples of long range planning include preparing population forecasts, amending county regulations, mapping, and reviewing and participating in actions proposed by other public agencies.
