Senate Bill 965(2001) – Oregon Children’s Plan
- Creates Oregon Early Childhood System, requires integrated community early childhood systems
- Goals: prevent abuse, improve health and development, promote bonding attachment, support parents, link and integrate services, ensure readiness to learn and quality childh care.
- Local Commission shall lead and coordinate the development of a local plan.
- Requires a 2-7 year implementation process with measurable outcomes.
- Provides for a multidisciplinary process to connect children and families with services.
