House Bill 2003(1993) - Creates DeschutesCountyCommissionon Children & Families
- Requires lay Commission on Children & Families in Deschutes County. Minimum 9 members.
- Names Governing Board of County Commissioners and Presiding Circuit Court Judge.
- Requires Local Advisory Council of agencies (our Professional Advisory Council).
- PAC shall aid /advise the Commission plus identify current delivery systems and resources.
- Allows local management of state resources based on improved outcomes.
- HB 2473 in 1995 eliminated the 1995 sunset to the law.
