Important dates for the November 3, 2020 General Election:

  • 08/14/20    Last day to file text of referral/ballot title for challenge period
  • 08/25/20    Last day for candidate to file
  • 08/27/20    Last day for county candidate’s statement to be filed for inclusion in county voters’ pamphlet
  • 09/03/20    Last day for a SEL 801, SEL 802 or SEL 803 and Explanatory Statement to be filed
  • 09/08/20    Last day for candidate’s statement to be filed for inclusion in county voters’ pamphlet for candidates that file with governing body other than County Clerk
  • 09/08/20    Last day for measure arguments to be filed for inclusion in voters’ pamphlet
  • 10/14/20    Local Ballots mailed
  • 10/27/20    Recommended last day to mail ballots to County Clerk
  • 11/03/20    Election Day: Ballots must be received by 8 pm on Election Day to be counted, postmarks do not count.
