Important dates for the May 19, 2020 Primary Election:

  • 02/29/20    Last day to file text of referral/ballot title for challenge period
  • 03/10/20    Last day for candidate to file
  • 03/12/20    Last day for candidate’s statement to be filed for inclusion in voters’ pamphlet
  • 03/19/20    Last day for a measure and Explanatory Statement to be filed
  • 03/23/20    Last day for measure arguments to be filed for inclusion in voters’ pamphlet
  • 04/28/20    Last day to register to vote or change party affiliation
  • 04/29/20    Local Ballots mailed
  • 05/12/20    Recommended last day to mail ballots to County Clerk
  • 05/19/20    Election Day: Ballots must be received by 8 pm on Election Day to be counted, postmarks do not count.
