Public Hearing on Marijuana Business Regulations and/or Opt-Out Options

This is the time and day typically used for a regular Board Work Session.  However, the time is instead being being dedicated to a PUBLIC HEARING on marijuana business regulations and/or opt out issue to allow more time for public testimony.  This affects ONLY the areas located outside of the cities' jurisdiction.

The hearing will begin at 1:30 and recess at 5:00 PM, and continue at 6:00 PM until approximately 9:00 PM.

Time for each individual to testify may be limited, depending on the number of people who wish to provide testimony.  Each person testifying will need to complete a simple sign-in from so they can be called to give their remarks.   The Request to Speak form, and a form that can be used for submitting written testimony are available on this posting, should you want to complete either or both in advance and bring them to the hearing.

Anyone who plans to provide written testimony is encouraged to provide five copies: one for each Commissioner, one for the recording secretary and one for the Community Development file.

Please note that any documents or photographs presented to the Board or as testimony need to be retained by the County for the official, permanent record.
