The open house at Redmond High School will feature clinic tours, health-related information and treats, prizes and an on-site nurse to answer questions.

Please attend the Redmond HS SBHC open house:
Redmond High School
675 SW Rimrock, across from the football field
4:00 to 6:30 p.m.

Deschutes County School Based Health Centers are conveniently located on school properties or at locations close to schools in La Pine, Redmond, Bend and Sisters. School Based Health Centers reduce school absence and improve student’s ability to succeed in school.

All district children ages 0- 20 can use the services of the School Based Health Centers. Parent permission is required for those 14 and younger. SBHC services include, but are not limited to, well child and sick visits, asthma clinics, immunizations, vision and hearing screens, developmental screening,  OHP application assistance, limited prescription medications, referral to prescription assistance and much more. Center staff can make referrals for needed further care that is not provided at the Center. Redmond and Sisters HS Centers also have a mental health provider on site.

School Based Health Centers accept all insurances including Oregon Health Plan but families with private insurance must check to see if the SBHC is listed as a provider on their plan. Visit fees are based on a sliding scale according to family income but all children can be seen regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.
