What are the rules of probation?
The Court stipulates the rules of probation and any questions should be referred to the supervising community justice officer. As an example, most probation orders include the following conditions:
- Time period of probation supervision
- No change in residence or leaving the state of Oregon without advance approval
- Photograph and fingerprinting
- Substance abuse testing
- School attendance
- Officer may search and seize property
- No contact rules
Other related conditions specific to the circumstances of the referral and youth should be referred to the supervising community justice officer, as each case is individual.
