Our focus is on prevention and early intervention for priority issues impacting the health and well-being of the children and families of Deschutes County. Our goal is to take action on the root causes of the issues in our county, not simply to treat the symptoms. CFC staff, volunteer board members and community partners identify the underlying contributing factors, and then work together to put best practice solutions in place to address those issues. By prioritizing resources, using researched principles and strategies, and bringing key partners to the table, your Children and Families Commission is positively impacting both community-specific and county-wide health and well-being systems. Together we find solutions.
