The mission of the Deschutes County Law Library is to serve the legal information needs of Deschutes County by providing access and use of legal reference materials and reference services to members of the legal community and the general public. The library provides users with legal resources by acquiring, organizing and maintaining a collection of current and historical law-related materials which support the study and knowledge of law in Deschutes County.
Services
The Deschutes County Law Library provides legal information services to Deschutes County Staff, Courts, Judges, Attorney's and to the Public. Staff is available to help library users locate and use materials however, they can not provide legal research, legal advice or legal interpretation.
The library's resources include a diverse collection of legal materials, state and federal laws, court cases with an emphasis on Oregon, as well as continuing education materials for attorneys.
Entrance
Law Library door faces the parking lot on the east side of the building.
Please note: There are circumstances that may require the library to close during business hours. It is advisable if coming from out of town, that you call in advance of your visit.
